Alaska is the largest state in the U.S.,with a landmass of apporximatley 586,412 square miles
and population nearly 700 thousand people
Anchorage is the largest city in the state,and for it's size ,is one of the most diverse cities
in the United States.There are more 90 languages spoken here and approximately 30% of the
population is non-Caucasian.
There are more than 3000 Muslims living in Anchorage with nationalities from all over the world.
The first masjid of Alaska will provied much needed space for the growing Muslim community.
