ICCAA is focusing on finishing remaining part of it inshallah soon. The first section of it has all utilities completed and usable. First Masjid(Mosque) for Alaska Project
Bismillah, Assalamu Alaikum dear Brothers and Sisters, Help Us Build Our Islamic Center in Anchorage , Alaska "By no means shall you attain Al-Birr (righteousness, piety) unless you give (freely, in Allah's cause) of that which you love: and whatever of good you spend, Allah knows it well." (3:92) The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: "He who builds a Masjid for Allah (swt), as big as a bird's nest or smaller, Allah (swt) will build for him a house in Paradise ." Please sponsor as much footage as possible for yourself or on behalf of your parents, loved ones, or friends. Building a Masjid is a continuous charity. Alhamdulilah, with the Help of Allah (SWT), the All-Mighty, we your brothers and sisters in Anchorage, Alaska are happy to announce that we have begun a new phase of our Masjid building project by purchasing a 70,000 sq ft lot on the Old Seward Highway and 80th Street in Anchorage. This important step in our efforts to build the first Masjid in Alaska, which took us many years and was made possible by generous contributions from within our community and by help of many brothers and sisters from other Islamic communities, Jazak Allahu Khairan. The purchase price of $600,000 to buy the land was paid in full. The land has a beautiful mountain view and will make a wonderful location for our future Masjid! The city zoning of the lot has no restrictions that would preclude the establishment of a religious building on it, community center and school.
